Reflection…

What:

For reading this week, we have been focusing on defining the author’s purpose. Defining the author’s purpose means like to find out the main idea that the author is trying to remind you or tell you about something.

So what:

The reason why we have been doing this is because it helps us understand the text and also it helps us evaluate the author’s thinking. Mostly it means thinking beyond  the surface of the story.

Now what:

Next, I can use this strategy when I am reading another text and also it can help me improve my learning in better ways. This has helped me find the author’s purpose faster.

How to be a positive learner in McCahon Class 2015

Hey,have you ever wondered what McCahon’s positive sayings are? Well I'm going to tell you.To be a positive person in McCahon class you have to have a leaner profile. Also really to be a self directed learner.Also it means having a growth mind-set.If you don’t know what it means then read on.

My most important rule for McCahon class’s positive rules is to have a leaner profile if you  don’t know what it means then I will tell you. To have a learner profile well, it’s really just up to you to have one because learner profiles are about being a whole person. That just means to be good at everything not just at a couple and the rest you are below in. Also it means to be yourself like I said before being yourself in a positive way is principled.

Self-directed learner is the second most important thing to me.The reason why self directed learner is important is because in McCahon class when it comes to being a year ⅚ you need to be self directed.Self directed means to use your initiative to do positive things on your own without someone telling you to do something.If you are on self manage it’s al-right for a year 5, but really you should be coming to an end of self management.

Growth mind-set is the third most important thing in McCahon class to me.The reason why growth mind-set is important is because it’s just like another way of Meta-cognition. But.But it has a few more adjustments to open mindset.Open mindset means sometimes to change your words,not underestimating yourself or knowing your right and responsibilities.

In conclusion, there’s one more thing I need to say to you in McCahon class we make healthy choices.We are collaborative kids and we also ask questions that means we are smart kids.(Smart kids ask questions.)What are your class rules?
