Today we made a short video clip about Te Reo Maori Class. And the thing we used to make the short video clip was Sock Puppets because you can add 2 or 3 sock puppets and make a conversation between each other.

What I thought: I have two opinions, Yes because it could be a good thing. Also no because it might not be a good thing and you could even die!

This week we have  been reading a book called The Viewer by Gary Crew and Shaun Tan. The last page we read was a part when the boy went to sleep and had a restless sleep...(Restless sleep means to not have a comfortable sleep).... So today we took a photo of our buddy pretending to have a restless sleep. My buddy was Hunter....

What have been your learning highlights so far this term?

So far one of my learning highlights is camp because we learned something that made a big difference at school. That difference was us listening and not excluding each other in different subjects.

Inward-Looking:

What were your Learner Profile goals for Term 3? Have your goals changed? Are you on track to meet your goals?

My learner profile goal for this term is to be self guided and to work by myself without chatting and getting carried away with my friends! I think there’s still a lot more for me to learn about my goal. I think I am still a bit finding it challenging, but now I know a tip. That tip is to ignore my friends unless they need help and to just let them know that I can only play and talk with them in break times!

If you were the teacher, what comments would you make about your learning so far this term?

I think if I were the teacher I would say that my learning is better than last term. That Ashlyn is improving and Ashlyn still has a lot to look forward to! Ashlyn is slowly achieving her goals.

As you look back at your learning so far, what's one thing that you would like to try to improve upon over the next few weeks?

Just getting a lot more work done in my self guided. Making sure that I am on track every day!  I should try to improve on making sure I finished a task  before I start a new activity!
